This symposium brings together four knowledgeable presenters for a day of sharing their passion about our Texas history, taking place in the Lyceum of Lockhart's historic Dr. Eugene Clark Library.

Open to all, last year's symposium attracted over sixty attendees, most from out of town. Advance registration is not required, but we would like to know of your intention to attend so that we may configure the room appropriately: contact, or follow the link below to the online registration form. Registration fee (cash or check) will be collected upon check-in when the doors open at 9:00am.

Welcome will commence at 9:30am. After the first two presenters, the Morning Session will adjourn at 11:30am for a Lunch Break to visit one our local eateries. The Afternoon Session for the next two presenters will begin at 1:00pm. General Discussion and Open Reception at 4:00pm will be followed by dismissal at 5:00pm. Books of the presenters will be available for purchase and signing.

The Symposium is produced by Evenings with the Songwriter. This series exploring the art and craft of songwriting is in its eighth season on the last Tuesday of the month in the historic Lyceum. It is hosted by Fletcher Clark, and made possible by Library Director Bertha Martinez and her able staff.
